Another year, another Motorola update cycle. With so many updates, Motorola's lineup can be a bit confusing, even for those of us who live and breathe in the world of mobile devices. With the Moto models that go from E to G and Z, you would be forgiven for thinking that you had fallen into an episode of Sesame Street, instead of a list of the latest and best of Motorola.

But do not fear, we're here to help. We've delved into the details of each of Motorola's latest phones to make sure you know exactly what you're getting in terms of budget, design or needs. We will go from the cheapest economic device, the Moto E5 Play, to the supposed flagship of Motorola, the Moto Z3.

Moto E5 Play

Prices: Around $ 130.

For who it is: Someone who needs a basic and cheap smartphone.

The Moto E series has always been the economic level of Motorola's smartphone offering, but do not let that discourage you. The specifications are modest, as you would expect: a Snapdragon 425 or 427 processor (depending on the operator that buys it), as well as 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, with an optional MicroSD slot for more storage. The draw is the improved appearance and the screen – thin bevels and a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels – and although it has a plastic back panel, it is removable so you can replace the 2,800mAh battery if necessary . It worked decently during our limited time with him, and the 8-megapixel rear camera and the 5-megapixel front camera proved to be capable.

Unfortunately, Motorola has discarded an update of the Android P operating system for this phone, so that's something to keep in mind if you like to be updated.

Moto E5 Plus

Prices: About $ 180.

For who it is: Someone who needs a lot of battery, but does not mind the power of processing. [19659004] We loved the Moto E4 Plus, and it seems that tracking will include the biggest asset of that phone: the fantastic battery life. The Moto E5 Plus has a huge 5,000 mAh battery that probably lasts more than two days thanks to the Snapdragon 435, which consumes energy, while providing great power and storage with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage (with the expansion option of the MicroSD card). Like the Play version, the looks have been improved, with slim bevels and a fresh polymer glass back panel. It also has a large 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels, as well as a capable camera suite: a 12-megapixel lens on the back and an 8-megapixel lens on the front.

Unfortunately, like the E5 Play, this phone will definitely not receive an update to Android P, which can be a deciding factor for some.

Moto G6 game

Prices: It starts at $ 200.

For who it is: Someone who wants an attractive look and cheap midrange device that covers all bases.

The Moto G6 range arrives in the US UU in two flavors this year, and the Moto G6 Play is the cheapest of those models. You may not realize it at first glance, since Motorola has finally fully embraced the non-bevel trend we've seen slowly taking over the entire mobile phone industry. Slim bevels surround a large 5.7-inch LCD screen with an HD resolution of 720p. It is not the best in everything, but it is good enough for this price. The whole phone is covered with a polymer crystal, which gives some really nice reflections when the light reaches it. You will also find the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone, which we definitely prefer to the front-mounted design that Motorola has previously used.

Moving inside the phone, there is a Snapdragon 427 along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, but there will also be a model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. You can also expand that storage on any G6 Play model with a MicroSD card. The performance is fast, but do not expect the G6 Play to be with you if you need power in your phone. When it comes to the camera, the G6 Play has the only unique lens configuration in the G-range this year, and the single 13-megapixel lens held up well, although we suspect it may still suffer from shutter lag. Still, we are waiting for good things from this $ 200 phone.

] Prices: It starts at $ 250.

For who wants to: Someone who wants a great midrange phone for less than $ 300.

The Moto G6 is the next level in The middle ladder range, and it's one heck of a step. For $ 250, you get a phone that is close to being without a bezel, a 5.7-inch screen that runs a full HD 1080p resolution and some decent specifications inside. The Moto G6 is wrapped in glass (Gorilla Glass 3) and sits very well in the hand. Performance is fluid, thanks to Snapdragon 450 and 3 GB of RAM. There is 32 GB of storage, but that is upgradeable with MicroSD card, and if that is not enough, there is a model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.

The fingerprint scanner is back under the screen, just like previous Moto G models, which is good if you like that location. There is a two-lens camera on the back, a 12-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens, and these are mainly used to give a blur of "bokeh" to the images. He did a very good job in the tests, but there is still a hint of that shutter lag that always seems to affect Motorola phones. In a scoop for the G range, there is also a USB-C port on the bottom of the phone.

Note: There is also a Moto G6 Plus with the Snapdragon 630 faster inside, a bigger battery and a screen slightly bigger than 5.9 inches, but it will not come to the United States [19659013] Practical review of Moto G6

Moto X5

The Moto X5 has yet to be officially announced, but the rumors surrounding its point of existence to an iPhone X style notch at the top of the screen. News Moto X5 [19659006] Moto Z3 Play

  moto z3 news

Prices: $ 400 to 500.

For who it is: Someone who wants to access Moto Mods, but in a more economical package.

The Moto Z3 range has not yet been announced, but we have some ideas of what to expect from Motorola's main range. From the rumors that we have seen so far, it seems that a version of "Game" (read: lower version) of the Moto Z3 is planned, and most likely it comes with a 6-inch screen, a Snapdragon 636 low consumption . processor, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage. A 3,000 mAh battery should provide a lot of resistance when combined with these slightly more modest specifications, so we expect this to be a great low-end flagship phone with great battery life, exactly what we got from Moto Z2 Play. It is also rumored that Moto Mods from previous phones works with this device.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, so be careful with this space for our updates as soon as we have them.

  moto z3 news

Prices: Around $ 600 to $ 700.

For who it is: Someone who he wants the best flagship performance with his Moto Mods.

Like the Moto Z3 Play, the existence of the Moto Z3 is currently a rumor and a whisper, but based on what we've heard about this device so far, you can expect the Moto Z3 (or Z3 Force – the name is active for speculation) is likely to be Motorola's next flagship phone, with matching performance and specifications. Current rumors say it will come with at least a 6-inch screen, but Motorola has been remarkably reserved in specifications. We suspect that the powerful Snapdragon 845 will be involved, and will have at least 6 GB of RAM. As with the Z3 Play, we expect the full range of Moto Mods to work with the Moto Z3.

As with the Z3 Play, the information on the Moto Z3 is like dust in the wind, elusive and difficult to catch. We will keep you informed as we listen more.
