Ticketmaster could replace tickets with facial recognition

Someday, in the not too distant future, you may be able to enter a concert hall without having to stand in line for your ticket to be scanned, because instead, the place will scan and automatically identify your face.

That is the experience that Live Nation and Ticketmaster suggested they will try to develop last week, by announcing an investment in Blink Identity. Blink is a completely new company that claims to be able to identify people who walk in "half a second", even if they do not look directly at the camera.
