The Marshall Major was the first (and, apparently, the most popular) of Marshall's raids on headphones. Now, the company has presented the third generation of its model in the ear: the Major III and the Major III Bluetooth.
Like the previous Major II, the Major III is available in cable and Bluetooth versions, and, at least visually, is quite similar to the previous generation. But Marshall has reviewed many of the more subtle aspects of headphones to improve the previous model. When it comes to sound, there are new 40mm drivers that Marshall says offer enhanced audio, and the company has adjusted the headband, hinges and cushions with new designs that should result in a more comfortable fit.
The wired and wireless versions are virtually identical. The Bluetooth version includes an additional button to control music playback, similar to other Marshall headphones, and a little more weight due to the inclusion of a battery (which according to Marshall has about 30 hours of listening time).
The two headphones are available today from the Marshall website. The cable version will cost $ 79 and the model with Bluetooth will run for $ 150.
