If you spent your childhood huddled in your bed and read about the adventures of the Pevensie brothers, we have good news for you! Netflix has just acquired the rights to develop new film and series adaptations of The Chronicles of Narnia .
This may not seem like a big problem since Disney has already adapted three of the most beloved novels in this series, but there is a catch. This is actually the first time in history that the rights of the seven books have been owned by the same company. Netflix can relive the Narnia franchise without worrying that they will not be able to tell the whole story, and that is exactly what they intend to do.

Lewis Chronicles of Narnia have resonated with generations of readers around the world, families have fallen in love with characters like Aslan and the whole world of Narnia, and we are happy to be your home for years to come, "said Netflix Content Director Ted Sarandos.
To bring this story to life Netflix will work with Mark Gordon of Entertainment One, who produced the Disney series Narnia . You can not wait to start working on this project and translate the Narnia universe to the star programming of feature films and episodes.
