The 2016 LG V20 was basically the last flagship to be shipped with a removable battery, so it's not surprising that many people are still using it. Its Android 8.0 Oreo update started rolling in South Korea last week, and now it's coming to the Sprint model here in the states.

The last time we heard about the Oreo update of the V20 we went back to the end of April, when LG simply said it would come later. It's been about three months since then, and we're finally seeing movement. The update brings Oreo's standard features such as AutoComplete, picture-in-picture and notification points, and LG has slightly modified the user interface. It carries the compilation number OPR1.170623.032 and is included with the security patch for July.

Our informant received the update this morning, so any of you who are still using Sprint V20s should probably check one if you have not received it yet.
