What's new in Sea of Thieves
Cross game with PC
One of the most exciting updates to get to Sea of Thieves was the cross between Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, expanding the community and ensuring countless game interactions between the two platforms . The previous trailer leaked a bit earlier, but we'll update it with the official replacement when it comes out today. Follow a lonely sailor, singing an elegy for the "poor forgotten souls" who lost their lives on the new and dangerous island, Devil & # 39; s Roar.
When Forsaken Shores arrives it will bring this completely new section to the map, presenting with a new story. Players will find their way in this part of the game world, and when we spoke with the Sea of Thieves team during E3 2018 we discovered that it would be an inhospitable volcanic zone, formed by islands that could explode and send stones raining down in the boats.
That fits with what we've seen of the new cosmetic items and the armor options shown in the Forsaken Shores trailer, which appear to be inspired by red-hot metal.
There will also be a new boat designed only for crews of three people and the introduction of a practical rowboat to reach the shore and avoid sharks.
