This is how so good is Red Dead Redemption 2? In recent years, I would say that the only games that deserve to be considered in this same level of ultra elite are GTA 5, Metal Gear Solid 5 and The Witcher 3. This is a classic 5/5 cold stone that combines brilliant writing – the Rockstar's Houser brothers offer another shocking and scythe script – amazing technology and one of the most audaciously structured storylines to achieve a triple-A title. The story is so well told, that you will invest more emotionally in a horse during a crucial scene than what you did, even for Kratos, in this year's God of War stellar revival. If you only buy a game this year, it absolutely has to be this wonderful search of the Wild West.

Kirk Hamilton – (No score, but an incredibly positive review)

This game has a heart; the type of heart that is difficult to pin down but impossible to deny. It is a wonderful story about terrible people and a lively and tremendously sad tribute to nature itself. There is so much beauty and joy in this costly and exhausting thing. Somehow, that makes it even more perfect: an impressive compliment to a world in ruins, created by, over and for a society that ruined it

There is no doubt that this is a historical game. It's a new watermark for realistic video game worlds, but that world is also home to a narrative portrait of the Wild West that is unexpectedly bleak and not afraid to take your time. With very few exceptions, the many stories that the Rockstar writers have set out to tell about this group of outlaws land perfectly, the pleasant twists and turns of missions and individual chapters fuel a more exciting, sophisticated and compelling narrative, and the stories that you know. Discovering yourself within your world are no less convincing.

Nestled in the most authentic and inhabited open world of Rockstar, there are so many things to do, so many people to meet and so many Places to explore it's dizzyingly overwhelming . Red Dead Redemption 2 is not only Rockstar's greatest achievement to date; It is a game so little compromised that it is difficult to know where it is better to start discussing it.

Rockstar Games has been again overcome with Red Dead Redemption II. The close description of Van der Linde's gang debauchery is a compelling story that blends perfectly with the original game, and the depth and breadth of the open world is a technical triumph that every player should experience.

Martin Robinson: recommended

Eight years have passed since the last Red Dead Redemption, and five since the release of Grand Theft Auto 5, the time you can see and feel in every inch of a delicately designed game of this scope and scale, however, the time in which we have been spoiled by the likes of The Witcher 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Rockstar writers can not match the humanity and purpose of the former, nor can their designers match the integrity of the latter.

However, it offers something more: a wealth, detail and technical skill that are impressive. and without equal. Is this the best Rockstar game, a new masterpiece along with the original? There are too many warnings and too many flaws in his heart to leave me totally convinced. Is this your richest and most beautiful open world? Of that there is not a single doubt.

Kallie Plagge – 9 out 10 –

While Red Dead Redemption focused mainly on the story of John Marston, Red Dead 2 is about the story of John Marston. all Van der Linde's gang: as a community, as an idea and as the death rattle of the Wild West. is also about Arthur, but as the lens through which you see the gang, its very personal, very messy story backs a broader story. Some frustrating systems and a predictable mission structure end up serving that story well, although patience is needed to understand them and understand why. Red Dead Redemption 2 is an excellent prequel, but it is also an emotional story that makes you think for yourself, and it is a difficult world to leave when you are ready.
