Nvidia rumored to launch new laptops GPUs by the end of 2018

Rumors about the new Nvidia desktop graphics cards seem to have dried up, but we may see new GPUs on laptops.

A representative of Gigabyte / Aorus in the UK in the OverclockersUK forum confirmed that laptops are equipped with next-generation Nvidia GPUs are scheduled to be launched towards the end of the year, although this rumor requires extra extrapolation for its value nominal.

The bomb went down in response to another user asking if there was another Gigabyte Aero 15 X of higher specification coming soon, so since Gigabyte only uses discrete Nvidia GPUs, next generation graphics should have a new part of the Turing family.

Normally we would not put much inventory in a single forum post, but it seems more credible coming from a representative brand publication on a retail site with direct associations with both Gigabyte and Nvidia. The thread of the forum has been removed, but it seems that the representative of Gigabyte / Aorus UK Notebook is still an active member, so it seems that the user of the forum is at least genuine.

Despite the lack of movement in the new desktop graphics cards, Nvidia has launched a new series of portable GPUs without equivalent in desktop computers in the past, as evidenced by the Nvidia GeForce 800 series notebooks, but not on desktop cards.
