NBC Orders Five More Episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine

NBC decided to really get involved in their new acquisition of Fox, Brooklyn Nine-Nine . The chain announced that it added five more episodes to its original order of 13 episodes for the sixth season of comedies, bringing the total episode to 18.

This is great news for fans of Brooklyn Nine- Nine but we doubt that it is enough considering that the previous season had between 22 and 23 episodes each. Who knows, maybe NBC will change its mind one more time and order five more. Would not it be great?

Brooklyn Nine-Nine will return to television with new episodes during the middle of the season in the 2018-19 television season.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine debuted on Fox in 2013 and received critical acclaim for its humor and cast. The program, however, could not keep the audience engaged since the ratings dropped significantly after the second season and never recovered. The fifth season fell to 1.9 million average viewers, prompting Fox to cancel the series in May.

Soon after Brooklyn Nine-Nine was canceled, several other networks and broadcast platforms showed interest in reviving the program. It ended up landing on NBC, the network that originally aired this comedy in 2013. The entire cast is expected to return for the sixth season, including Adam Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz. , Chelsea Peretti, Dirk Blocker and Joel McKinnon Miller.
