Microsoft will join Disney's Movies Anywhere service this week. The Movies & TV application of the software giant on Xbox and Windows 10 will support Movies Anywhere, allowing you to access digital movies from services such as iTunes, Google Play Movies, Vudu, Amazon Video and more. This also means that any movie purchased using a Microsoft account on an Xbox or Windows 10 PC will be synchronized with the Movies Anywhere service and will be available on other platforms.
Disney, Sony, Twentieth Century Fox, Universal and Warner Bros. are currently supporting Movies Anywhere, so the service will support most titles. Xbox and Windows 10 users can simply link their Microsoft account to an existing or new Movies Anywhere account to synchronize purchased movies. Microsoft was one of the last major holdings of Movies Anywhere, but users of Xbox and Windows 10 will be happy to see that the company finally supports the service. Unfortunately, Movies Anywhere is still limited to US consumers. UU At this time.
