Microsoft offers new tools to parents with an expansion of their family group functions on Android. You can now access the familiar controls in Microsoft Launcher and the Edge browser for Android.
In the updated Microsoft Launcher, parents can add their children to the family group to track their location and keep up with the applications they are using. . These data appear in the feeding section of the initiator (see above, on the left), and parents can deactivate it at any time. If your child is smart enough to change initiator or disable location permissions, he has no luck there.
With Edge for Android, you can now block websites. This configuration is transferred to the Android version from Edge on the desktop. If your child tries to visit a blocked site, Edge will tell you to get permission before loading the site. Again, you must lock the device to prevent children from exchanging in other browsers.
Before you can use family functions in any of these applications, you must set up a family group account. Microsoft has support articles that cover all that. The family group settings are applied to Windows and Xbox in addition to Android.
