The Crown has released Emerald Fennell as Camilla Parker Bowles.
Fennell will join the third season of Netflix's hit real drama, starring Prince Charles's love interest. She will play opposite Josh O & # 39; Connor, who has been chosen to play young Charles. She joins Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter, Jason Watkins and Marion Bailey, previously announced in the third season.
"I am absolutely over the moon and completely terrified of joining so many talented people in The Crown ," said Fennell. "I love Camilla, and I am so grateful that my teenage years I have been well prepared to play a serial snogger who smokes with a haircut in a pudding bowl. "
Fennel is known for her role in the series Midwife . Other credits include Pan, The Danish Girl and Anna Karenina. She also serves as the main writer in Season 2 of Killing Eve.
Season Three of The Crown is now being filmed and is expected to make its debut on Netflix in 2019.
