Affair fans are about to say goodbye to another regular series.
TVLine has confirmed that Joshua Jackson will not return for the final season of the series. The news of Jackson's departure from the program follows the news of Ruth Wilson's departure after his character was killed at the end of season 4.
Jackson has played Cole Lockhart in the drama for his first four seasons. The 40-year-old actor was initially hired for two seasons and continued to sign. According to the publication, Jackson could make a couple of appearances as a guest in the fifth and final Season of The Affair.
According to Entertainment Weekly the final season of the show is still in development, which basically means that the creative team is figuring out how all of the characters' stories find their conclusion.
