The role in The Sinner helped Jessica Biel rediscover her passion for television and is preparing to direct another television series. The Golden Globe nominee was released on the original Facebook Watch series Limetown based on a popular podcast of the same name.
The creators of the original podcast, Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie, were commissioned to write The script for this intriguing adaptation. Follow the journalist Lia Haddock, who uses her program on American Public Radio to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of more than 300 people at a neuroscience research center in Tennessee.
Limetown is not the first Facebook Watch Series to attract the star cast. Recently they began broadcasting a critically acclaimed drama Sorry For Your Loss with Elizabeth Olsen at the helm. It will be followed by another dark comedy Queen America starring Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The premiere date of Limetown has not yet been established and so far we only know that given an order of 10 episodes. In addition to being the star, Jessica Biel will also act as executive producer through her production company Iron Ocean.
