Netflix confirmed to ET that Jenna Dewan will play Joanna in a new musical drama, Mixtape . Explore "the love stories that connect a diverse and disparate group of people in contemporary Los Angeles through the music that lives within their hearts and minds."
The television series was created by Josh Safran and was produced by Safran along with Megan Ellison, Sue Naegle and Ali Krug. She also stars in Revenge & # 39; s Madeleine Stowe, British actress, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and La La Land star, Callie Hernandez.
Safran, who previously worked on Gossip Girl Smash and Quantico took to Twitter on Monday to share his happiness for bringing to life Mixtape .
