The winner of this year's Global Icon Award at the MTV European Music Awards is none other than Janet Jackson.
The news was confirmed through the official Twitter account of the program: "Singer, dancer, actress, legendary activist and 2018 #MTVEMAGLOBAL ICON! @Janetjackson is always the queen !! ", wrote.

The EMA of 2018 MTV will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Center in Spain. The show on November 4 will be presented by Hailee Steinfeld.
