Today you can not buy an iPhone X in gold, but now you can "ooh" and "aah" in the newly filtered photos of Apple's best smartphone in that prestigious color.

Six photos of the golden iPhone X were taken and presented to the FCC seven months ago, reports MacRumors. Apple used the unpublished color in its required FCC file, so we see them publicly today.

Of course, we never had a chance to buy this golden X iPhone six months ago when it was first launched. Apple's seven-color color process for its flagship has been limited to a white back with a silver or gray spatial frame with a spatial gray frame.

This new color seems to have a golden back and matching aluminum frame, something like the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. There are no indications in today's presentation of why the iPhone X gold was discarded, or if it will ever see the light.

Gold iPhone 11 expectations [19659011] Filtered photos are a half-cycle preview of what we can expect from iPhone 11, or iPhone XI (whatever Apple ends up calling their next phone). According to reports, Apple plans three iPhone models in September.

We report rumors that the new iPhone for 2018 will be launched in more than two colors. The great expectations of all are in a golden or bright golden option like this.

Apple has promoted the new Red iPhone 8 and 8 Plus color product this week, so the timing is interesting. In this case, it probably did not mean the leak of the gold option, but it's hard to keep things secret when you have to tell the government.
