Xiaomi Mi 6X (possibly the Mi A2) is scheduled to launch on April 25 in China. We have seen several rumors that the phone is making rounds, but the latest information comes from the alleged Chinese retail box of the phone. The image of the My 6X box reveals some key specifications and features of the device.
First discovered by the Slash leaks, the box reveals a Snapdragon 660 SoC, which was first expected to be the Snapdragon 636, which is now in the Redmi Note 5 Pro. To remember, the Nokia 7 Plus recently It also has the same Snapdragon 660 processor, and is priced at Rs 24,999 in India.
Also, it suggests the existence of a USB type C port to load. It also reveals that the phone will have a dual camera configuration of 20MP + 8MP in the rear. In the front, it will have a 20MP selfie camera with portrait mode.
According to the Chinese box, the Mi 6X will have Android Oreo ready to use with MIUI at the top. But, in India, the Mi 6X would probably come as the Mi A2 under the Android One program. Which means there are no faster MIUI and Android updates.
Finally, the box indicates that the phone will carry a 2910mAh battery.
Unlike the A1, the Mi A2 is said to have a camera unit stacked vertically like the Redmi Note 5 Pro. On the front, it will have a 5.99-inch FHD + screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9.
The My A1 is a world renowned version of My 5X with Android stock. With this in mind, it is likely that the Mi A2 offers the same design and hardware as the Mi 6X.
Recently, the company's CEO, Lei Jun, has also confirmed that it makes sense to bring the Mi A2 in India, as customers praised the combination of Xiaomi with Android stock in My A1. This means that the phone could reach India sometime after the launch of China.
