AT & T has constantly improved its prepaid phone plans in recent years, and today is making some additions and improvements. The highlight is a new 8GB plan that costs $ 50 per month, but it is reduced to $ 40 per month if you sign up for automatic monthly payments to renew the service. While it may not be possible for all customers, it is not a big question, since many people will use the service as a regular monthly plan.
The new 8GB plan more or less replaces the 6GB plan that AT & T used to sell for $ 45 ($ 40 with automatic payment), although customers can still get it in stores if they wish. However, as long as you get the discount, there is no reason not to update, since the new plan has 2 GB of additional data and has no problems. Both plans also support transfer data, which allows you to use any additional information from the previous month.
In addition to the 8GB plan, AT & T is also modifying its unlimited $ 65 plan by lowering the price to $ 55, instead of $ 50, when customers use automatic payment. That plan is not exactly unlimited, since it can not stream HD videos or use tethering. AT & T is also updating its somewhat more unlimited plan, which costs $ 85 per month and includes high definition video and some anchors, so it includes 10 GB of anchor data instead of just 6 GB.
In general, there does not seem to be anything to complain about here. The 8GB plan is basically AT & T's new general-purpose prepaid data plan; and at that price, it's a pretty good deal, by way of comparison: Verizon's $ 40 plan only offers 3GB of data.
