If you were not completely interested in the latest exclusive version of God of War for PlayStation 4, it's possible that your attention has been taken advantage of by the recent wave of criticism. Gaming sites around the world have been extremely positive in their reviews of the game and TechRadar said it is "powerful, moving and unforgettable."
This is not just a continuation of the new generation of God of War games of yesteryear, it's a new direction for the franchise with Nordic myths, more narrative and a more fatherly Kratos. Who could have imagined?
God of War will be launched on April 20 and if you missed the opportunity to book in advance, that does not mean you're completely out of the possibility of making a weekend launch purchase. There are reports that stocks have become hard to come by, so we've created a list of outlets where you can find the game and perhaps reach an agreement while you're there. At the time of writing, all these outlets have stock and we will update to reflect the changes.
God of War Standard Edition
The standard edition of God of War comes with, as expected, just the game. but this makes it the cheapest option.
God of War Collector's Edition
God of War Collector's Edition comes with a little more than the basic game but costs a bit more. This edition comes with a handful of exclusive digital exclusives which include armor, a shield and a theme. But it also comes with a statue of Kratos & Atreus, a steel book box, Huldra Brothers carvings, a lithograph and a cloth map.
This version is proving difficult to find online, although we suggest you stay tuned to GameSeek where it is priced at £ 119.85 and can be restocked soon. If you can not wait, we recommend you take a trip to some game stores where you can still have stocks for £ 119.99.
God of War DualShock 4 controller
