Rockstar has confirmed that it plans to launch the online beta of Red Dead Redemption 2 in November 2018.
According to Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption 2 online (or Red Dead online) will be: "an evolution of the classic multiplayer experience in the original Red Dead Redemption, which combines the narrative with a competitive and cooperative game in new and fun ways. "
"Using the game of the next Red Dead Redemption 2 as a base, Red Dead Online will be ready to be explored alone or with friends, and will also have constant updates and adjustments to grow and evolve this experience for all players," writes Rockstar on the official website of Red Dead Online.
Red Dead Online will initially be released as a public beta, however Rockstar promises more news soon and warns that there will be "some turbulence at the launch".
Access to Red Dead Online is free for anyone who has a copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Of course, however, you will need a subscription to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live to play online.
