Sometimes, real life can seriously affect your playing time. However, if you buy the right games, you can start playing them on your PC and then continue playing on your smartphone.
Here is a brief list of PC games that you can continue to play on mobile devices, offering you the best of both worlds. Therefore, these games will allow you to maximize your playing time, no matter where you are.
It seems that Fortnite is on all consoles and systems known to man, and his smartphone is no exception. Fortunately, if you get stuck in this tremendously popular Battle Royale game, you won't need to create a separate account for each system.
While Fortnite did not invent the Battle Royale genre, it is one of his most popular entries. He also struggled to provide cross-platform compatibility among all the devices he is on. This feature means that you can buy and win items on your PC, and then retrieve them when you play on mobile devices.
Fortnite also supports multiplatform games with PCs, consoles and mobile devices. This feature means that you can play with friends on different systems. Fortunately, if you don't play with anyone on a separate system, the game will match you with other mobile players to keep things fair.
Due to the unbridled success of Fortnite, scammers are always on the hunt to open Fortnite accounts. So, if you play this game, make sure you secure your Fortnite account with two-factor authentication.

Another game that is difficult to avoid no matter where you are, Minecraft can be played on all modern devices. It takes a little more work to make Minecraft work cross-platform, but it is possible.
To start, you need the Minecraft version of Bedrock on your PC. The Bedrock version is the standard that all devices must meet. Because all devices use the same version, they are all on the same level and can play well with each other.
To run the Bedrock edition on your computer, you need Windows 10. Then, you must download Minecraft for Windows 10 from the app store. You do not need to buy this version again; instead, you can get it for free after buying the main version of Minecraft.
The Windows 10 version of Minecraft uses the Bedrock version, which means you can cross-play with other systems. If you run Minecraft and say "Java edition", this is the striking new version of Minecraft and is not compatible with other devices.
You will also need Minecraft: Pocket Edition on your mobile device. Unfortunately, the mobile version is not free with the PC version, so you must buy it again on your mobile device.
Once you are using the Bedrock version, you can share a world among all your devices. The best way to do this is on a server that saves your progress as you build. You can set up a server yourself or take one from Minecraft Realms.
These steps represent a lot of work, so it is better to do it if you have friends who want to play. Fortunately, if you performed the above steps, you now have a server running the standard version of Bedrock. This means that any friend, regardless of how he plays, can get on.
There are some good reasons why you should make your own server, so consider it before buying a Realms server.

If you want to play card games while you're away, Hearthstone is a fantastic option. This fantasy-based collectible card game (TCG) is inspired by the characters and settings of the successful game World of Warcraft. Since its launch, Hearthstone has taken more liberties with the source material and created a style for itself.
Hearthstone's core design is for cross-games for PCs and mobile devices. This means that you can build and play decks on the PC, then continue your card-based conquest while on the move. All your cards and decks follow you, so you never need to rebuild the decks from scratch.
Best of all, TCGs have a slower pace and turn-based than other games. If you are on a mobile device and a PC player challenges you, they have no inherent advantage in the game over you.

If you are not interested in Hearthstone, try Shadowverse. This is an anime-based card game that is not as popular as Hearthstone but has an active fan base that appreciates the artistic style.
Shadowverse is an excellent choice if you don't want to spend too much on a TCG. The developer is generous with his gifts, so he can make a decent deck without paying anything. The option is there to buy more packages if you feel inclined, but it is much less restrictive than other TCGs.
At the time of writing, the gameplay revolves around playing "one hit" (OHKO) cards that win the game on the spot. As such, Shadowverse may not be an ideal choice for people who enjoy fighting creatures over combined victories.

Many games start on one platform and then expand to others when their success merits it. Crashlands is unique in that developers designed it to cover both PCs and mobile devices by default.
The versions for PC and mobile devices are so synchronized that developers wanted a game purchase to cover both systems. Unfortunately, they could not sell the PC and mobile version in a package, so they divided the total price of the game between the two editions. As such, when you buy both versions, you essentially bought the full game.
Crashlands has a style similar to games like Minecraft and Don’t Starve. You play as Flux Danes, a spaceman who is shot down and lands on an alien planet. You are forced to make a living by building a base, fighting wildlife and collecting alien eggs to hatch like your pet.
Since it is designed to be multiplatform, you don't lose progress between the PC and the mobile versions. The game uses BscotchID to synchronize the saves between both games. Once you have finished playing on the PC and need to travel, just tell your phone to synchronize the saved files and you can start playing where you left off.
