A new trailer and more details of the MediEvil remake for PlayStation 4 will be released. In 19659002] Talking about this week's PlayStation Blogcast, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Shawn Layden revealed that more details about the remake will be announced on the 31st. October, including a new trailer.
MediEvil is a new version of the original 3D platform game hack & apos; n & apos; slash for PlayStation, and sees you take on the role of Sir Daniel Fortesque, who rises from the dead to fight for his kingdom once again.
The new version was originally announced in PSX 2017, along with the teaser preview that can be seen below.
Layden explained that the next release of MediEvil will be a new version instead of a remaster, like Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.
"I think there have been some words that may sound the same but mean different things, like remake and remaster," said Layden. "This is a remake, we have taken the design of the original game and we have taken much of the key art, and some of the other attributes of the design and game ethic, if you wish, and we are working with a developer called Other Ocean Interactive, and they are remaking MediEvil and that design – the original MediEvil of PS1 ".
Layden also mocked that Sir Daniel's original voice actor, Jason Wilson, will make a return saying, "We're working with some of the talent that was originally associated with the title 20 years ago, so we made sure that we keep it real, maintaining the original purpose of the creators. "
