Bethesda has revealed the requirements of the PC system for Fallout 76 and, as expected, is not too demanding on the specifications front.
It's built on the same engine as Fallout 4 (which was launched three years ago), although the engine (again) has been modified and substantially improved, Bethesda has strived to point out recently.
Therefore, the system requirements require more than Fallout 4, with the minimum specifications stipulating that the processor must be an Intel Core i5-6600K (3.5GHz) or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X (3.5GHz) or higher . As for the graphics card, you must run an Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB) or AMD Radeon R9 285 (2 GB) or equivalent.
Fallout 76 requires a minimum of 8 GB of system memory and 60 GB of storage space. You will need a CPU and a 64-bit operating system, with the game running on Windows 7, 8 and 10.
Recommended platform
Regarding the recommended requirements for the game, which reinforces the CPU needed for an Intel Core i7-4790 (3.6GHz), or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (3.5GHz).
And for the graphics card, you'll want to use an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290X (4GB). The other requirements remain the same as with the minimum specifications.
So now you know what kind of PC you'll need to be able to enjoy the scenery and images of post-apocalyptic West Virginia, which includes real locations like the Woodburn Circle and New River Gorge Bridge.
Fallout 76 is currently in beta on the Xbox One, and the PC and PS4 betas will follow next week, before the release date of November 14. We also recently discovered that it is not compatible with the multiplatform game.
