The star of Sex and the City portrays an established jazz singer, Vivienne, who receives some news that changes her life on the eve of an important performance. She finds herself at the crossroads and decides to reevaluate her priorities and tries to make peace with the decisions and sacrifices she has made along the way.
Here And Now has an impressive cast of supporting players, including Jacqueline Bisset as her dominant mother Jeanne, Common as her longtime manager Ben and Simon Baker as her ex-husband Nick. The next drama is also starring Renée Zellweger, as Vivienne's friend, Tessa.
Here And Now had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, but fans of Sarah Jessica Parker had to wait a little longer to see Ella playing the jazz singer in distress. The wait will end on November 9, when this intriguing project is available in theaters and on demand.
