The Premier League and EA have announced the first ePremier League sports tournament (ePL for short).
The ePL tournament will offer FIFA players based in the United Kingdom the opportunity to represent and compete in one of the 20 clubs in the Premier League, with The Finals being broadcast live on social media channels. Sky Sports and Premier League.
"EA Sports is a fantastic partner for the Premier League and we look forward to launch ePremier League with them," said Richard Masters, CEO of Premier League.
"We know that millions of fans play at FIFA and this new sports competition is an excellent opportunity for our clubs to commit to them."
How do I sign up?
The ePL tournament starts in January 2019 and we will see the players compete for three months in three rounds: online qualifying, live eliminations in the club and the final live. Each club in the Premier League will have a live playoff round that will allow two competitors (one PlayStation 4 player and one Xbox One player) a final shot in the final.
If you think you have what it takes, registration for the tournament starts in December. Online qualifications begin in January 2019, while the club's playoffs take place from February to March 2019.
The final of the ePL will be held in London from March 29 to 29, 2019 and will be operated by Gfinity.
