The sequel to Surface Studio is coming soon. It will be available soon at Microsoft's press event on October 2. If an all-in-one PC appears on a leaked benchmark, it may look impending. Interestingly, the Geekbench leak allows a glimpse of the hardware inside Surface Studio 2. (Assuming this is not a sculpture, of course, do not put salt water lightly).
Obviously, the device's engine will be one of Intel's core i7-7820HQ processors, a quad-core (8-threaded) CPU running at 2.9GHz at 3.9GHz in Turbo. This is currently part of Kaby Lake, not the 8th generation, and some may be disappointing. We are here wanting Coffee Lake.
This processor has 32GB of DDR4 system RAM
Speedier Studio
The Geekbench score from Studio sequel was 4,680 on a single core and 15,915 on a multicore.
So you do not need to sniff 20% faster multicore performance. Good news for performance. Assume again that this leak is money.
I hope that you will soon find out if Microsoft will actually introduce the new Surface Studio 2 at the next week's press event. October 10, 2018 Windows Update Announced)
The refurbished all-in-one PC can also be equipped with Thunderbolt 3 for connectivity and push the display to 5K aliases.
