Did not you hear about the Amazon news among the approximately 70 ads in today's Alexa event? Good news, Audible has something to add to the flood. The Amazon-owned audiobook site has just announced the availability of its Apple Watch app.
The offer brings more or less what you expect. You can listen to audio books and manage your library directly from the small screen. It is a very logical step for the service, given the approach that Apple has put in the audio of the smart watch, between the addition of an LTE version of last year and the recent announcement of a native application of podcasting for the platform.
This also justifies the recent incorporation of the Aaptiv exercise routines, which Audible added a few weeks ago. The offer makes sense on the phone, but taking the course directly to a product focused on health and exercise like the Apple Watch helps to complete that vision. These training and meditation offers are free for Audible users until September of next year.
