Not only that, but the walks themselves are designed to be part of a larger interactive adventure that guests can perform. Do a bad job flying the Millennium Falcon in the main attraction of the park, for example, and a guest may be called, or celebrated, by a character later in his visit.
The move from traditional theme parks to more immersive environments has been taking off over the last decade, with Universal Studios planting a banner on the ground with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Disneyland playing catch-up with Pandora: The World of Avatar .
