Jordan Peele’s Nazi-hunting TV show will air on Amazon Prime

Amazon has collected The Hunt a new series from Get Out screenwriter and director Jordan Peele & # 39; s Monkeypaw Productions. The series of 10 episodes will follow a group of Nazi hunters in the city of New York in 1977.

Deadline reports that The Hunt will be written by David Weil, who will also serve as executive producer at the show. In the show, a team of Nazi hunters discovers and works to stop a plot by a group of high-ranking Nazi officials who plan to create a Fourth Reich in the United States.

This will be the first series of scripts that Amazon has obtained after Jennifer Salke became the new director of Amazon Studios. Salke took over in February after Roy Price resigned last October after accusations of sexual harassment.

It's not the only project that keeps Peele busy. He is currently working on a Lovecraftian series set in Jim Crow-America for HBO called Lovecraft Country . Also recently announced that he is writing and directing a new horror movie called We to be released next March, which recently released Lupita Nyong & # 39; o ( The Force Awakens Black Panther ). The Hollywood Reporter reported last week that the film would focus on two couples, one white and one black. Other actors that are currently said to be in talks are Winston Duke ( Black Panther ) and Elisabeth Moss ( The Handmaid & # 39; s Tale ).
