Here’s a $4,500 iPhone X with a solar charger on the back

A Russian accessory manufacturer called Caviar has started selling a solar-powered version of the iPhone X for $ 4,500. Caviar dials the phone with the iPhone X "Tesla" and originally announced his plans in November, as he saw AppleInsider .

Since Caviar does not manufacture iPhones or Teslas, the iPhone X Tesla features are not directly integrated into the device. In contrast, the iPhone X Tesla is actually a rather thick phone case that connects directly to the device, with a solar panel on the back that feeds a secondary battery for more juice. Caviar claims that the housing has IP67 resistance to water and dust.

The first Caviar unit of the iPhone X Tesla case has the engraving "Made on Earth by Humans", in honor of when Elon Musk sent a Tesla Roadster into space aboard a SpaceX The Falcon Heavy rocket returns in February. Each unit is also getting its own production number, and Caviar says it is only making 999 units.

For $ 4,555, you can get the iPhone X Tesla with 64 GB of storage (the phone is included with the case), and for $ 4,805, you can get the 256 GB model. Because it is imported from Russia, there may be additional taxes and fees. If you are more a fan of Vladimir Putin than of Elon Musk, Caviar also made a $ 2,500 Nokia to commemorate Putin's meeting with President Donald Trump, as well as a $ 3,000 Apple Watch worthy of Putin himself.
