The Nintendo switch is great, but its support does not work, it's not only flimsy, it only has one angle and can not be used while the system is charging because the USB-C port is at the bottom edge of the console. There are a couple of solutions, including an elevated Hori platform and an expensive Twelve South option originally designed for the iPhone, and now Nintendo is trying to solve the problem itself.
The adjustable load holder is what it seems: a loading dock with a stand that can be set at various angles. You can plug the switch's normal AC adapter into the power holder; There is no HDMI output, so this is not a complete replacement for the TV base. Really, however, at $ 19.99 it might be worth picking up just to have better support. It will be available on July 13.
