The surgery ends the season of Verratti for PSG
Marco Verratti will not participate in the final stages of the offer of triple Paris Saint-Germain after undergoing adductor surgery.
Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has undergone adductor surgery, concluding his season with the Ligue 1 champions.
PSG concluded with the French high-flying title with five games to spare when they demolished their closest rivals Monaco 7-1 last month.
Verratti also has no commitments in the World Cup to worry about after Italy failed to reach Russia 2018, although the 25-year-old will miss his club's attempts to complete national triple in the Cup final of France against third level minnows Les Herbiers next Tuesday.
"The operation was perfect," said a brief statement on PSG's Twitter.
"The date was chosen to allow Marco Verratti to resume the 2018-19 season in the best conditions". [19659025] The date is a choice for the exam in Marco Verratti to reprimand the saison 2018-2019 dans les meilleures conditions. pic.twitter.com/CrE7z9c0WG
