Moto G6 launch date

It seems that we will see the Moto G6 (plus Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play) on April 19, when Motorola sent invitations to an event in Sao Paulo, Brazil on that date.

The Moto G6 does not carry his name, but it's hard to think about what else Motorola could organize an event at the moment, and the green on the invitation seems to be the same color as on the Moto G6's home screen. Also in a recently filtered image.

In case of failure, a recent leak points to a mid-May launch for the G6 range, with the Moto G6 standard apparently sent before May 10.

Moto G6 price

It has been reported that the Moto G6 will cost $ 240 (around £ 170, Rs 15,500) and the Moto G6 Plus will cost $ 330 (around £ 230, Rs 21,000).

That would be cheaper than previous versions of the G series, so we would be surprised if the final price of the Moto G6 is so low. It is worth keeping the fingers and toes crossed.

Design and display of the Moto G6

Do you remember the Moto X? The Moto G6 series will apparently differ from the G5 series in terms of design to integrate features that remind you of the old Moto X.

The three new Moto G6 phones are ready to come with 18: 9 screens, continuing the popular trend in the mobile market at this time for the highest screen form factor.

The flight suggests that the Moto G6 Play entry level will have a 5.7-inch 720p screen (and a 4000 mAh battery), while the Moto G6 could boast a 5.7-inch FHD + screen . Android Headlines adds that the G6 Play will have an aspect ratio of 18: 9 and neither will be water resistant.

Meanwhile, the Moto G6 Plus could come with a 5.94-inch FHD + screen. Since then, these specifications have been echoed on Twitter and again through a preview of an Amazon list.

The most detailed images we've seen so far of the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play seem to be official Motorola renders that show almost every angle of the phone.

We have put a selection of photos in a gallery below, but each of them was filtered by Twitter user Ishan Agarwal. We still have to know where the images come from, so we'll take these photos with a little salt until we see the official launch of the phone.

Moto G6 Play

The images apparently confirmed that the fingerprint scanner will be below the screen on each of the devices, in addition to the Moto G6 Play, where it is located on the back. You can also clearly see the great influence of Moto X design on these new images.

Long before we saw the renderings above, we saw a couple of images on the website of a Chinese standards agency that gives us a glimpse of the front and the back of what appears to be the Moto G6.

Possibly we have also seen the Moto G6 Play after a series of images that say that the phone was loaded in Trendy Techz.

Of the slightly fuzzy shots, the G6 Play could have a scanner of rear fingerprints and a single camera.

These images also point to a single camera and a fingerprint scanner on the back of the G6, while the front has a screen and bevels.

The Moto G6 and the G6 Plus could arrive several different colors, with a filtered image in the headlines of Android that points towards white, silver, gold, dark blue and cyan tones.

In addition, we may have seen the final design of the Moto G6 appear again, thanks to some leaks picked up by a site called Killer Features. It shows an elegant looking device with a front-facing fingerprint sensor and a dual-lens camera module on the back.

The box maker Olixar also seems to have spilled the beans, with a number of images that apparently show the Moto G6 in some of their cases.

However, the single rear camera on the back does not fit with other leaks surrounding the phone, which means that the phone you see below can really be the Moto G6 Play.

There are also a couple of shots that claim to also show the Moto G6 Plus, which can be seen at the end of the gallery below.

Performance and battery of the Moto G6

Rumor has it that the Moto G6 works with a Snapdragon 450 chipset with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. Its storage capacities could be 32 GB or 64 GB and it could have a 3,000 mAh battery. Rumor has it that the Moto G6 Play is low-end, with a Snapdragon 427 quad-core chip at 1.4GHz, along with a larger 4000 mAh battery.

However, it is said that the Moto G6 Plus works with a Snapdragon 630 SoC available with 3GB / 4GB / 6GB of RAM. But, once again, storage can be 32 GB or 64 GB. Those specifications have been rumored more than once.

A leak at the Taiwan certification site, NCC, showed that the smartphone will support 4G LTE bands, 2G 900 MHz and 1800MHz bands, and WCDMA. In addition to that, the NCC list also shows that the phone will come with NFC support.

The three phones will present Android Nougat factory, which may disappoint some since Android Oreo is already in the market with the launch of Android P just around the corner.

We have also had a potentially clearer aspect of the specifications for the Moto G6 Plus, after the ad of Twitter @HeyAndri posted the following tweet.

The specifications combine very well with previous rumors, but it's worth considering that if there are 4 GB of RAM with 32 GB of storage and a variant of 6 GB / 64 GB, you can only get one in his region.

The phones will also come paired with a fingerprint sensor to reduce the hassle of logging into your phone.

Meanwhile, it seems that the Moto G6 Play only has a camera on its back, and that will also join a fingerprint scanner, possibly and integrated into the Motorola logo. Android Headlines claims that the rear camera of the G6 Play will have 13MP, while there will be a 5MP on the front.
