Honor 7A preview: an opening look at the company's super-affordable smartphone
If you need cash, but need a new smartphone, then the Honor 7A may be the phone you're looking for. The 7A points to the same affordable end of the market as Motorola's Moto G line and is the most basic phone in Honor's current line of smartphones. With prices starting at a modest £ 139.99 SIM-free is also very cheap, even for affordable phone standards.

Honor 7A first look – what is it like to use?
The 7A is not going to win any design awards, but like cheap phones Goe looks good. The phone is made of reinforced plastic, with an aluminum bezel on one side. Of course, they are not the most glamorous materials, but they are sure to withstand occasionally blows, bumps and even falls.
There's a 5.7-inch 18: 9 screen on the front that's not so bad. The maximum levels of brightness were also higher than I expected. My only problem with the screen is its slightly lower HD resolution. I can not help but wish that Honor had opted for a Full HD panel, which would have been much clearer and clearer. As it is text and icons, although readable, they are a bit confusing compared to most other smartphones.

Now let's talk about performance. I spent an hour with the phone and handled it easily in all the tasks, alternating between several applications, while transmitting a Spotify song in the background, without stopping to take a breath.
As in the case of the Honor 7C, I did not have enough time with the unit to run the main camera completely, but the few samples I looked through were adequate. The shots taken in the light of day seemed clear and full of details, although the same could not be said about the poorly lit images.
The piece of resistance, however, was the 8MP front trigger, which, when combined with the dedicated LED flash, looks impressive. The result is a selfie full of details, even when the environment in which it was filmed was not optimized for mobile photography.

The Honor 7A seems to be another solid budget mobile phone from the Chinese manufacturer Honor. It is well built, it is fast and it comes with a decent camera. I mean, what else can you ask for from a phone that sells for less than £ 150?
