Back in February, we got our first preview of the next LG flagship phone, the LG G7, the latest in the G series, through filtered photos and specifications. Today, more specifications and photos of the new phone were leaked to TechRadar . And most notably, TechRadar detected a button on the side that points out that it could be dedicated to LG's AI function.
Samsung started the trend of including a dedicated button for its intelligent assistant Bixby, which has been called structural bloatware. Now the leak TechRadar reveals that LG can follow its own game with its own button to the left of its new LG G7 ThinQ, except that it is likely to be for the camera function with AI power of the company in place of a Bixby clone. LG introduced the AI features in the V30S ThinQ in February, and it seems that the G7 will continue and will be the second phone to use the name ThinQ. (Pro tip: pronounced "thin-cue")
The leaks also show that the phone can have a 6.1-inch screen and a screen almost without bevel, and like other imitators of Android, a notch. On the right side of the phone is the power button.
We've already seen phone photos of the February leaks, and today's leaks confirm those photos and rumored specifications. The G7 ThinQ will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor, and will have 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of SSD. It has an 8 megapixel selfie camera, a 16 megapixel dual rear camera and a fingerprint sensor located on the back.
Today's leaked photos also show that the phone appears to be in the initial testing phase in the US. UU . That is aligned with the release date of the rumored phone set in May.
